While at University Venture Fund (UVF), Dominic has worked on a variety of due diligence and investment efforts covering: project management software, medical device products, international money exchange, aerosol markets, peer-to-peer marketplaces, mobile voice isolation technology, and alternative forms of higher education.
In addition to UVF, Dominic is the current president of the Westminster College Finance Club, Westminster’s only business club. He is also a student Business Senator on the college’s student government and holds the only student representative board seat on the college’s Investment Board Committee.
Prior to joining the fund, Dominic was an analyst for the Student Community Consultant Initiative at Westminster, a local-market consulting group. He provided management and technical assistance to a small local business, including development of business plans, marketing plans, research, financial/accounting assistance, and public relations solutions.
Dominic is completing a duel major in finance and economics from Westminster College located in Salt Lake City, Utah. During his studies he was involved in the Alumni Mentoring Program, an invite-only course for the top 1% of the student body that featured successful college alumni sharing their experiences as executives and meeting monthly to provide mentoring. He also participated in tutoring at a local middle school, helping challenged students develop math and reading skills. He is also bilingual in German and a duel citizen within Germany and the United States.
Upon graduation Dominic is planning to pursue a career in investment banking, with an emphasis on private equity.
